Reserve Pinot Grigio 2017
The Story:
The view from the Bistro encompasses the beauty of Pecan Park Block where the Estate Pinot Grigio is grown. The Pinot Grigio, planted in 2001, is always the first grape harvested in mid-July. The quality of this fruit is consistently exceptional. The resulting Flat Creek Estate Pinot Grigio is a signature wine and an award-winning wine.
The Tasting Notes:
The summer of 2017 was an abundant year in the Texas wine industry. The resulting harvest from our vineyard Estate gave us an extra hundred cases of quality Pinot Grigio. In 2017, we continued our 2016 tradition of aging Pinot Grigio in Russan Oak. The time spent in oak results in a full-bodied wine with a lingering finish. Enjoy with seared scallops and raw oysters!
