Reserve Pinot Grigio 2015
The Story:
The view from the Bistro encompasses the beauty of Pecan Park Block where the Estate Pinot Grigio is grown. The Pinot Grigio, planted in 2001, is always the first grape harvested in mid-July. The quality of this fruit is consistently exceptional. The resulting Flat Creek Estate Pinot Grigio is a signature wine and an award-winning wine.
The Tasting Notes:
The growing season during 2015 was challenging. Late rainfall led to increased disease pressure especially among our Pinot Grigio. Some fruit was lost throughout the season leading to a smaller than normal harvest. The grapes that were harvested exhibit the traditional crisp acidity and minerality from which our Pecan Park Block is known. This extremely limited release won’t be available for long.
