Reserve Syrah 2014
The Story:
This Syrah is comprised of three different clones from Hilltop and Helen’s Block in our estate vineyard. The 2014 vintage is more subtle than past vintages. This is largely due to the more moderate temperatures during the growing season that helped to retain the vibrant acidity.
The Tasting Notes:
This Old World style wine exhibits subdued fruit notes and an abundance of acidity. You’ll notice a slight licorice hint on the nose with moderate fruit aromas. The palate presents a soft tannic structure with a clean limestone finish. Enjoy with Bacon Wrapped Shrimp and a side of Guacamole.
