Reserve Syrah 2013
The Story:
This Syrah is comprised of three different clones from Hilltop and Helen’s Block in our estate vineyard. It is a big, inky full-bodied dry wine that
unfolds new layers over time.
The Tasting Notes:
Warm weather Syrah is forceful, full-bodied and showcases plum and raisin characteristics unlike anything else. Our 2013 Syrah exhibits all these warm weather characteristics at a much lower alcohol than is typical for warm weather Syrah. At only 13.4% alcohol, the wine isn’t overly heavy but, it is still bold and delightfully expressive.
