The Story:
Our Super Texan Reserve program began in 2012 to allow Winemaker Tim Drake to craft a special small lot blend of our already famous Super Texan. The 2013 Reserve Super Texan has been perfectly cellared by Flat Creek Estate for optimal drinking during its 2017 / 2018 release date.
The Tasting Notes:
This perfectly cellared wine has been held for optimal release in the Fall of 2017. Its extended barrel aging developed into deep dried cherry notes and baked walnuts reminiscent of an aged Italian red. Enjoy this reserve wine with Balsamic Brown Sugar Lamb Chops or Holiday Spiced Cookies.
