Reserve Tempranillo 2014
The Story:
Sourced exclusively from the Lost Draw Vineyards in the Texas High Plains, this Tempranillo is a favorite of our wine club members. It expresses delicate floral notes, toasty oak and a hint of caramelized brown sugar. We are fortunate to have wonderful growers in the cooler Texas Panhandle.
The Tasting Notes:
This dry, medium-bodied wine expresses a beautiful summer floral nose...think honeysuckle and jasmine with traditional violet undertones. You can expect the same lively acidity and supple tannins found in our previous vintages. Enjoy with pine nut based dishes like a summer pesto, vegetarian quinoa and pine nuts or pine nut crusted chicken.
