Blanc du Bois 2015
The Story:
The popularity of Blanc du Bois has increased significantly over the past few years and has finally made its way into the Flat Creek wine portfolio. We source our Blanc du Bois fruit from the Tanglewood Vineyards in Brenham, Texas. The grapes sourced from this vineyard, express their usual citrus notes and expressive acidity.
The Tasting Notes:
Blanc du Bois is a hybrid grape variety that thrives in Texas. This is our second vintage of Blanc du Bois and the wine for this vintage underwent 5 months of sur lie aging. The first vintage was bursting with acidity and grapefruit while the 2015 exhibits a softer, more lush feeling.
