Four Horsemen 2013
The Story:
Our Estate Red Blend is designed to showcase the results when exceptional Texas fruit is crafted with exceptional winemaking skill. This wine showcases our unique terroir and reflects the strength each of the four varieties contributes. The blend was created by choosing only the best barrels for each variety then painstakingly combined to achieve a wine of supreme depth and balance. This wine was un-fined and un-filtered to preserve every sublety possible. Each limited installment will only be produced when the fruit demands.
The Tasting Notes:
The 2013 Four Horsemen exhibits the traditional blackberry notes found in our Syrah with a unique Texas meatiness. Although light-bodied, the wine’s tannins and dark fruits appeal to the bold red wine drinker. Enjoy this wine with Texas Whitetail Deer around a campfire.
