Reserve Petite Sirah 2012
The Story:
This elegant release of Petite Sirah was crafted with our Estate Wine Club in mind. Just 144 cases of this Reserve wine were produced from exceptional fruit grown in the California wine country. Enjoy this “gem” while you can. It is one of those special wines produced at Flat Creek that you will only find available from time to time.
The Tasting Notes:
Our Reserve Petite Sirah is selected from only the best barrels. It is a dry, full-bodied wine with an inky deep color. Blueberries, black plums and herbal notes greet you on the nose followed by a subtle smokiness and black pepper through the mid-palate. The bright acidity, ample tannins, and supportive oak fill the mouth and linger throughout the long finish. Enjoy this wine with venison, wild boar or other hearty meats.
