Mistella IV

The Story:

Mistella is made from unfermented Estate Muscat Canelli juice fortified with grape brandy and aged in neutral oak.  Mistella is crafted in a fashion similar to a white port.  Mistela is the Spanish term and mistelle the French for a mixture of grape juice and alcohol.  We are very pleased to announce the 3rd release of this small lot of Mistella dessert wine.

The Tasting Notes:

This unique dessert wine is crafted from fresh pressed Muscat Canelli juice racked into small oak barrels and fortified with grape brandy.  The result is a luscious Mistella bursting with aromas and flavors of orange marmalade, lemon zest, peaches and apricots.  Enjoy as an aperitif or after dinner paired with a rich apple tart.
