Cuvee Rouge
The Story:
Introducing our first release of Texas Cuvee Rouge. Our initial Italian blend, released in 2016, was comprised of whole cluster Italian varietals purchased from the Sierra Ridge Vineyards in the Sierra Nevada Foothills of California. This new release is a blend of Texas High Plains Dolcetto & Zinfandel plus Texas Hill Country Petite Sirah. It is less austere and not quite as bold as our initial release...we hope you enjoy its welcoming Texas-style.
The Tasting Notes:
This medium-bodied, dry red wine is a blend of Texas High Plains Dolcetto & Zinfandel with a little Texas Hill Country Petite Sirah. Expect flavors of black cherry cola and a soft earthy mushroom finish derived from the Texas Hill Country Petite Sirah.
