Cranberry, cherry and traditional Texas light-bodied style are key features to this wine. The underlying notes of leather on the nose remind you you’re in Texas!
The 2017 Super Texan's mix of flavors and aromas are reminiscent of tart cherries, leather, earthiness, herbs, and oak, with abundant mature rustic tannins. The ruby garnet color compliments notes of violet and fig.
The 2016 Texas Montepulciano is comprised of grapes from the Texas Hill Country & the Texas High Plains. It is lighter than our previous 2015 Montepulciano. Much of the difference in weight can be attributed the different barrels each wine was aged in. The 2015 was aged in Hungarian Oak, notorious for its ability to increase mid-palate. The 2016 vintage was aged in Russian Oak, an oak known for its sweeter aromas and elegance in the mouth. The black cherry notes and rustic old-world style remain in both vintages!

Vintage 2017 yielded exceptional quality fruit and in quantities large enough to gift us two 100% Estate Bottled Syrahs. This non-reserve Syrah was sourced from Hilltop Block, a block dedicated specifically to Syrah. It is a beautifully dark inky color with aromas of pomegranate and raisin. There is a chalky minerality that tickles your nose and invites you back for another sniff. The palate exhibits a lushness that you might expect from a California Zinfandel, but that is rarely present in the warm-climate wines of the Texas Hill Country. Savor the raisin notes and intense tannins of this wine late into the night.
Plum and blackberry aromas abound in this unique vintage of Estate Syrah. The usual overwhelming acidity takes a backseat to grippy tannins and rich chocolate notes in the 2016 vintage. Enjoy this wine with eggplant parmesan during your next meatless Monday dinner.
This is winter in the Texas Hill Country in a bottle. Cinnamon and cedar on the nose remind you for warm pies by the campfire. Couple that with leather and a finish as warm as Texas hospitality and you have yourself a bottle of Texas wine to share with your out-of-town guests. Small batch artisanship is evident in this 130 case release of Four Horsemen.
Our first release of Texas Petite Sirah is a dark garnet color with a sweet sherry aroma. On the palate, you'll enjoy flavors of chocolate-covered honeycomb. Cheese and gourmet chocolate truffles with a bottle of this Petite Sirah are the perfect ending to date night.
If you love quality Oregon Pinot Noir, you'll fall head-over-heels for this Texas Hill Country Aglianico. Aglianico aficionados will be surprised by the bright red color and enticing cranberry and vanilla aromas of this wine. It is a beautifully elegant contrast to the typical earth-driven Aglianicos of Southern Italy. Join us at the Wine & Food Hall for vegetarian Mushroom Asiago Fusilli and a glass of Texas Hill Country Aglianico.
