Rosé 2019
The Story:
Our Roséprogram was first crafted from our Primitivo grapes and released in 2004 & 2006. Each year our Rosé program is composed of a different blend of grape. Our winemaker focuses on the chemistry of the current vintage to determine which grapes best fit into our rosé program.
The Tasting Notes:
The 2019 Rosé is comprised of 100% Sangiovese grapes harvested three weeks earlier than those picked for our Super Texan. Early picking helps the wine achieve optimal acidity for that beautiful Provençal style. The salmon color is mesmerizing and the white orchid aromas refreshing. On the palate you’ll noticed watermelon and candied cherry, a common thread in the Flat Creek rosé program. Toast to Texas sunsets!
