Montepulciano 2015
The Story:
Our friends at Diamonte Doble have begun to supply us with Montepulciano grapes to supplement our Estate bottling. While we wait for our Estate Grown Reserve Montepulciano to develop, we are happy to release this Texas High Plains Montepulciano. Cellar a few extra bottles to compare to our Texas Hill Country bottling to be released in late 2018.
The Tasting Notes:
The 2015 Texas Montepulciano has the same inky dark color as its predecessor. With a supple boysenberry nose with underlying notes of sage, this wine is luxury to sniff. The palate exhibits boysenberry notes with soft vanilla tannins and a white pepper finish.
