Montepulciano 2014
The Story:
Our friends at Diamonte Doble have begun to supply us with Montepulciano grapes to supplement our Estate bottling. While we wait for our Estate Grown Reserve Montepulciano to develop, we are happy to release this Texas High Plains Montepulciano. Cellar a few extra bottles to compare to our Texas Hill Country bottling to be released in late 2018.
The Tasting Notes:
This might be a Texas High Plains wine, but it smells like the Hill Country. Savor its cedar and raspberry nose before indulging in this well structured Montepulciano. It’s light-bodied with great tannins. Enjoy this wine with a pistachio goat cheese spread on warm crusty bread.
